Ambitious Upgrade Plan of Exchanges on the Anvil
People in the rural areas of Scotland like the Borders can now hope for better broadband services, as the Scottish government has acknowledged the poor distribution of network and speed problems and along with British Telecom is set to implement a major upgrade plan, believed to have a budget of 3million pounds. Roxburgh and Berwickshire MSP John Lamont welcomed this move while giving his opinion to the BBC. He is of the view that it is not just the coverage but also the quality of service that is in dire need of improvement.
