Enjoy Great Expectations with the Fullest Dating and Social Life
Usually, I am not so miserable, but life can be lonesome without a date. Here’s the scoup, last night I broke my resolution and smoked two packs of cigarettes. On a weekend that comes from being alone, duh! You better believe it was great. Does that tell you anything? Honestly, that’s the moment when I seriously considered finding a date in my new hometown.
Nothing that can’t be fixed. Figured I’d boost my dating life thru Great Expectations Denver. Definitely turned out to be my golden ticket. Here’s a story. We were at George’s graduation in Dallas last night, great aunt Judy started bothering me if I’ve found the woman I’m going to marry. I just can’t believe that came up. My response was, “that’s none of your business.”
And of course Gramps kept pressing me about my companionship situation. I said to each of them: “Hey look, you would bring that up.”
Do you have any idea what happened next? Everyone looked away and giggled. Perturbed, I went to the gym so I could clear my head. What a waste of time! It was more useful listening to my dad, which is never the case. Billy, who was a fellow Ram in high school (go Rams!) suggested that I enlist in Great Expectations. I said, “You know, that’s a good idea.” Should have thought of it myself. I love Great Expectations Dallas.
Early on, singles events and mixers were new to me. I was a bit nervous at first, and I was speechless at first. A mere faux pas did not stop the evening. The evening was a great way to start at Great Expectations. The one cool thing that really struck me were the attractive, single women.
Appearing at these amazing Great Expectations Dallas singles events, I bumped into some great people who clearly feel as excited as I am for how dating should be done. Can’t imagine why I used to let everyone give their two cents about living the bachelor’s life after all these years. Awesomely enough, doing things the Great Expectations way is a lot of fun and like a dream come true.
