Movie Theaters and Cell Phones

Posted @ 4:28 pm

Finally a movie that you have been waiting for has been released and is showing at the eight p.m. spot at the local theater. You can’t wait any longer. You favorite Actress is in it and it is a re-make of a classic love story, you have read the novel over two dozen times. You wait in line for hours just to get the ticket and you finally make it inside. You go to the concession stand and buy water, you passed on the candy because you took your Acceletrim weight loss product. When you enter the theater it is packed and seating is questionable. You finally find a spot and it is perfectly in the middle of the theater with a perfect view of the screen. The previews are just about ending for other movies and you are sitting real comfortable. Then some crazy commercial comes on about cell phones and you dig into your purse to find your cell phone to make sure that it is on vibrate. Ah, it is now on vibrate. You look around, all of the other people are checking their cell phones, and the lights from the phones make it look like fire flies are in the movie theater. Then, the intro sound of the movie comes on and you get chills. The movie is finally going to start and everyone has their cell phones on silent or vibrate. The next two hours is going to be something out of this world.
