Who Are These Real Estate Gurus and Why Are They Here?

Posted @ 12:58 pm

Count on it: By tomorrow this time, there will be more info about real estate investing posted on the internet than there is right now. It feels like there’s a new real estate “guru” born every minute, and with each one, there’s one (or more) associated blogs, websites and email lists to contend with.

And predictably, not all of the information available is worthwhile or even legitimate. In consideration of this circumstance, consider some of the information below about available real estate investing resources. Important: We do not pretend to pass judgment on any of these people or resources – that’s your job.

(Briefly, on a related note, there’s one really good real estate investing website that is absolutely no cost. Check it out when you get a moment.)

* Bryan Ellis is an Atlanta-based internet marketing expert with a formidable background in real estate investing. Ellis has a blog that’s a little intense for new investors, but is extremely attractive to seasoned pros who want a deeper understanding.

* Gerald Romine sells software to real estate investors that helps them to fill out paperwork and make offers on investment properties. The software is very pricey, but does have features helpful for serious investors.

More or less, all of these people are well known to real estate investors. But being popular isn’t an indicator of ethics, reliability or legitimacy. The reader is encouraged to check out these people more closely.
